Doug Beavers Bio

Doug Beavers is a talented trombonist, producer, composer, and arranger known for his strong work ethic and high-quality contributions. He won a Grammy® for his work on Eddie Palmieri’s album “Listen Here” and has collaborated with famous musicians like Rosemary Clooney and Arturo Sandoval.
   Beavers chose music over a full scholarship in Electrical Engineering after hearing John Coltrane and earned a bachelor’s degree in music. He later studied at the Manhattan School of Music, which led to significant opportunities, including working with Mingus Big Band and Eddie Palmieri.
   He founded Doug Beavers Productions™, producing “Jazz, Baby! “, praised for its creative arrangements. His debut solo release “Two Shades of Nude” features a jazz nonet and NYC musicians, coming out on September 23, 2010. Beavers also teaches music and conducts clinics.
