Dan Neville Bio

Dan Neville is a skilled vibraphonist, composer, and educator based in New York City, originally from Sonoma. He began playing vibraphone in 2012 and has performed worldwide, including at the SFJAZZ Center and on NBC’s Today Show.After moving to San Francisco in 2013, he led the salsa band Nuevo Cani for eight years and studied Afro-Cuban music.

Neville earned a scholarship to the California Jazz Conservatory from 2014 to 2019, where he toured Europe with the college ensemble. His debut album, “Tenerife,” was released in 2017 and received acclaim. After studying in Colombia and participating in festivals, he moved to New Jersey in 2021, studied at William Paterson University, and works with notable musicians. Dan holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s in music and is signed with Patois Records
