John Worley Bio

John is an enthusiastic and skilled educator who teaches various students. He has played in many creative music groups in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been featured on over 70 recordings and videos. John has collaborated with both national and international artists across multiple music styles. He has led projects like WorldView, Bari Bari, and the Mo-Chi Quartet, performing at notable events such as the Monterey Jazz Festival and the Stanford Jazz Festival. John teaches at Stanford University, Santa Clara University, and Hope St. Music Studios. He is affiliated with several music organizations and was recognized in a book about trumpet players. His debut CD, Worlview, was released in 2003, followed by Naivasha on his 60th birthday.
